We are finally at the finish line! This has been a labor of love and in the works for a long time. I've always wondered what people do with prom dresses, bridesmaid dresses, and/or any other type of formal wedding/prom attire after they've worn it only once. My guess is they hang in the back of the closet indefinitely. After the money spent on two prom dresses for my daughter and as a single mom, I was anxious to recoup at least a small portion of what was spent on these dresses. Also, I wondered what parents do when they really can't afford to spend hundreds on a new prom dress that they know will only be worn once.

After some web research throughout the State of Maine, I wasn't able to find another consignment type store that was available for gently used/worn-once gowns. Hence, Second Chance Consignments was born. I'm so excited to see where this adventure takes me!
